Story about Frajla
This wine is homage to Đurđica from family „Mačkovi“.
As a young girl, Đurđica fell in love with young blade Sava Mačak. He uses to wear his hat lop-sided, and had moustache in Budapest-style. He loved wine, and he used to take his razor out of the pocket quite often.
Her parents banned their love, and as youth and silliness go along, she packed one summer night some necessary things in a bundle and – ran away from home!
It’s been a long time of parents’ hurt for their favourite daughter’s “betrayal” until they crossed each other in the vineyard. Her mother invited her to help in digging, and that was the sign of truce, appropriate for that era.
We today, in the glory of love, both the romantic and parental one, offer the wine made of grapes Portugieser, which comes from the same vineyard in which Đurđica and her parents met and reconciled.
Light, drinkable wine, of soft pink colour, floral aroma, accompanies ideally good food, good music and good company!
The wine settled at grapes for a very short period of time and therefore it has got specific light salmon pink colour. It can be served as an aperitif on warm summer days, and it goes well with salad meals, white meat and river fish.
