Leaders in tourism: The best winery in 2025

On the ceremony that took place on 28th January 2026 in the hall of the National Museum in Belgrade, website putovanjaiturizam.com has organized an event “Leaders in tourism”. Its goal is to recognize and award companies, institutions and professionals that achieved extraordinary results and significantly contributes to the development and promotion to the tourism in Serbia and in the region.

In categories related to the best destination, hotel, touristic organization, tourism development and many others, awards were granted to leaders who set the standards and shape tourism future with their knowledge, vision and results.

In category “Best winery” award was granted to Mačkov podrum.

Award was accepted by executive manager, Đurđica Jojić Novaković, who, while she was addressing the audience, reminded wine industry and wine tourism have very developed in the last two decades, that there is still lot of room for progress and that one of the most important rules in wine culture is to consume local wines: “Drink Serbian wines, appreciate Serbian wineries” was her main message. She also thanked organisers for establishing this category and for support to local wine industry.

Sauvignon Blanc from harvest 2025 was served at the cocktail after the ceremony.
